REMI ADETIBA
Visual Creative

Remi Adetiba is a Producer/Creative Director operating primarily between New York City and West/Southern Africa. From his beginnings as a creative technologist in the New York advertising industry, working on campaigns for brands ranging from Amazon to Astra-Zeneca, SONY to Stoli, Microsoft to MTV, look and function were never more important than feel — the emotional impact a digital, print, or video experience left with the audience.

This principle guided him through a decade of work as a creative, working with visionary photographers in North America, Asia, and Africa, before starting to shoot his own imagery in 2011. His work with various publications and brands on both sides of the Atlantic led to his role as a resident judge on the reality competition show Africa’s Next Top Model, helping launch the career of model Aamito Lagum.

After years spent creating celebrated imagery with a host of prominent names in the music, fashion, and film/television industries, Remi deepened his involvement in film and television, partnering with his sister (and celebrated filmmaker) Kemi Adetiba on the Nollywood box-office smash King of Boys and its sequel, the hit Netflix Original Series King of Boys: Return of the King.
